I first became aware of Robert Redford Q287 while reading the Injemira Beef Genetics 2021 production sale catalogue, I will never forget the opening sentence from his blurb, ‘Many are expecting me to say Redford J006 Q287 is the greatest sire ever produced at Injemira but I will leave it up to you to decide!’ What an opening line, and seeing that he sold for an Australian record for a Hereford Bull at $160,000 it was decided.
